Welcome to The Hot Kitchen. As the oldest daughter of two excellent cooks, I have always enjoyed cooking and eating delicious food. However, my passion for all things food related began in the summer of 2009 with a farm share full of fresh, local, organic fruit and vegetables and one very un-air conditioned, very hot kitchen. Over that summer I learned 100 different ways to use kale, I learned of the existence of veggies like kolhrabi and tatsoi and I learned to trust myself with the contents of my spice rack. I believe in fresh, healthy, local and affordable food for all and that really truly anyone can cook something delicious. Thanks for reading!
